WELCOME BACK FROM BASSLINE!
After a much needed break over Christmas, Bassline Productions is back and looking forward to everything 2016 promises to offer. But before we look to the future, we’d like to turn our thoughts to 2015 and what was undoubtedly our most exciting year yet.
After moving into our new premises in Wandsworth at the end of 2014, we installed a brand new operating system and complete financial platform, allowing us to focus on the fun bits – begin new equipment and putting on the parties!
2015 was a diverse year for us in terms of job requests, but as ever our team were on hand to offer their expertise and to execute all the challenges faced, producing some truly breathtaking results.
From big budget weddings and private parties in London, to fireworks displays and 3D projection mapping in the Home Counties.
We rigged tents and audio for Secret Garden Party, Gottwood and Festival No.6, and produced Noisily Festival from the ground up for the fourth year running.
Capping off the year by turning the Kingston Christmas lights on, filling the Brighton Grand with our Martin Audio for NYE, and producing a lighting show at Brixton Electric for DJ Luck & MC Neat, the Artful Dodger and Big Narstie. 2015 was as interesting as it was enjoyable for Bassline!
Now to the future: 2016 sees the growth of our team, with two more full time members joining us at Bassline HQ. As well as these full time roles we have taken on an intern through a university placement scheme, and we’ll be teaching him the ins and outs of running a successful technical event production and management company.
As well as our invaluable personnel, it would be wrong of Bassline not to give a nod to the equipment we will be investing in over the coming months. This year’s acquisitions will considerably beef up both our intelligent lighting and audio portfolio, whilst our staging, rigging and stretch tents will be replenished and added to as well.
We will be tripling our overall lighting stock, adding around 20 generic fixtures to our stage lighting department; buying more Chauvet Beams, Spots, Q-Washes and Colourband Pixel Battens; and doubling our wireless, landscape and architectural hire stock as well.
